    Himesh Reshammiya, who is basking in the success of his recent film Badass Ravi Kumar, has revealed some exciting details about the sequel.

    In an exclusive interview with Zoom, he expressed his gratitude for the audience's love and specifically mentioned the Gen Z crowd's enjoyment of the film.

    He also shared insights into the Xpose universe, stating that it revolves around different eras.

    Reshammiya unveiled the timeline for the 'Badass Ravi Kumar' sequel

    Reshammiya revealed that while the first part of Xpose was set in the '60s and Badass Ravi Kumar in the '80s, the sequel will delve into the '90s.

    He said, "The Xpose universe is all about the retro era, and it also featured Irrfan Khan."

    "The sequel is going to be set in the '90s," he added.

    Character introduction

    New character to be introduced in 'Badass Ravi Kumar' sequel

    Reshammiya also revealed that some characters from the film will continue their journey in the sequel, with many new ones being added.

    He particularly mentioned a new character of Vijay Kumar from Vijayawada, designed by him.

    "This is a very new character who is also going to be introduced in the world of Xpose," he said.

    Career reflection

    Reshammiya reflected on his journey from serial producer to actor-singer

    Reshammiya also remembered his days as a serial producer, mentioning big stars like Rajendra Kumar, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Reena Roy, Om Puri, Shekhar Suman, and Poonam Dhillon.

    He was surprised that he went from producing "larger-than-life serials" to stepping into the music and singing world.

    He credited his success to the love of people, blessings from his parents, and support from the media.
