    What's the story

The Beatles is one of the most iconic bands of all time and has wowed audiences globally over the years with their evergreen hits.

This has been reflected in the Billboard charts where the British band has often been at the top. However, now, Ariana Grande has become the first one to rule the Billboard chart's top three spots since The Beatles.

    Success

Billboard charts shows Grande's iconic success

Grande is currently dominating the top three spots on the Billboard chart with singles 7 Rings, Break up with your girlfriend, I'm bored, and Thank u, next.

This makes her the first musician since The Beatles in 1964 to have reached this iconic milestone.

Grande's album Thank U, Next has become a sensation, with all but one song making it to top 40 charts.

    Do you know?

Grande breaks another record in the music industry

If being the next hottest act after The Beatles was not enough, Grande also broke another record in the music industry for the most simultaneous top 40 Billboard Hot 100 hits by a female artist, with 11 songs to her name.

Come together, right now, over me: The success of Beatles

While Grande might be making waves, The Beatles scorched the Billboard charts in their prime.

According to Billboard, in Hot 100's 60-year history, Grande is the second act to rule 3 top spots.

The Beatles did it for five weeks in March and April 1964 with their songs Can't Buy Me Love, Twist and Shout and Do You Want to Know a Secret.

    Reaction

Grande expresses amazement and gratitude on social media

When Grande got to know of her iconic performance, she reacted on social media saying, 'wait what', 'r u ok'.

She also expressed gratitude on Twitter, saying, '...first time since the beatles huh. that's wild. i thought this was a joke when i saw it i'm not kidding. i love u. so much. always have n will. thank u for everything'.
