    The trailer for the highly-anticipated film Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, has finally been dropped!

    Directed by Vasan Bala and set for release on October 11, the movie promises a thrilling blend of action, emotion, and mystery.

    The trailer offers a glimpse into the gripping world Bhatt's character navigates, as she faces impossible odds to rescue her brother from a brutal and unjust imprisonment.

    Plot reveal

    'Jigra' trailer highlights bond between Bhatt and Raina's characters

    The three-minute Jigra trailer kicks off with a tense phone call, revealing that Raina's character, Ankur, has been wrongfully imprisoned.

    This sets the stage for Bhatt's character Satya's relentless mission to save her brother at any cost.

    However, the path ahead is treacherous, as she faces insurmountable obstacles—even battling an army to secure his release.

    Throughout the intense action, the trailer also highlights the profound bond between Bhatt and Raina's characters, adding emotional depth to the unfolding drama.

    Know more about the film

    The supporting cast features a lineup including Aditya Nanda, Manoj Pahwa, and Rahul Ravindran. Achint Thakkar has composed the film's music, which includes a special reimagining of the classic track Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka.

    Originally composed by the iconic RD Burman and sung by Kishore Kumar in Haré Rama Haré Krishna, this new version is performed by Raina, with additional lyrics by Varun Grover.

    Future ventures

    Bhatt's upcoming projects include 'Alpha' and 'Love & War'

    Besides Jigra, Bhatt is preparing for Alpha, an action-packed spy thriller produced by Yash Raj Films. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Sharvari in significant roles.

    Additionally, the 31-year-old actor is slated to begin shooting for Love & War with Sanjay Leela Bhansali where she will share screen space with her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Raazi co-star Vicky Kaushal.

    The film is slated for Christmas 2025 release.
