    What's the story

Mahesh Bhatt's 70th birthday came with a pleasant surprise for everyone as he announced his return to direction with 'Sadak 2'.

The movie will feature Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt and is slated to release in 2020.

It is the first time Bhatt will be directing Alia and he revealed that the storyline had left her shaken and crying.

    'Sadak 2'

Interestingly, Alia wasn't considered for 'Sadak 2' initially

Bhatt revealed that Alia was not on his mind while writing the script of 'Sadak 2'.

However, it was Sanjay, Pooja and Mukesh Bhatt that suggested Mahesh to narrate the script to Alia.

"We gave a full narration to her and by the end of it, she was left shaking and crying. That was one hell of a triumph," he added.

    Alia's dream

A dream come true moment for Alia

Excited to work with Mahesh, Alia revealed that it was one of her biggest dreams to be directed by her father.

On the occasion of Bhatt's 70th birthday, the 'Raazi' actress shared a heart-warming message about her dream come true moment.

"Sadak 2 is a dream come true. What I thought will never be possible you have made possible," Alia wrote.
