After collaborating with Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan, director Siddharth Anand's next muse is Akshay Kumar!
Per Pinkvilla, the duo is all set to collaborate for a new action film. The upcoming movie will be directed by Milan Luthria and is being produced under Anand's production house, Marflix.
Anand and his wife Mamta Anand established Marflix to create a slate of 10 feature films that explore new realms of action.

Sources close to the development revealed that Kumar and Anand had been considering a potential collaboration for some time. The duo has now finalized an action-packed entertainer to be directed by Luthria.
The insiders further shared that the film is set in the backdrop of a vigilante movie.
"When the script was locked, the trio unanimously felt that Kumar is the best fit...and on hearing the script, Akshay also felt that this is the right film for him."

Kumar is to be seen in 'never seen before avatar'
The source also revealed that Kumar is thrilled about exploring a new genre of action under Anand's guidance. The actor will be seen in a "never seen before avatar" in the upcoming film.
The source added, "Akshay loves the action space and is always up for challenges. The Milan Luthria directorial will see him in a never seen before avatar, that does justice to the legacy created by him in action."

Marflix is gearing up for several projects in the coming year.
These include the Sujoy Ghosh-directed King starring SRK and Suhana Khan; the Robbie Grewal directorial Jewel Thief with Saif Ali Khan; the Roshan-led superhero franchise, Krrish 4; a yet-untitled action film to be helmed by Sid's AD, Rohan Khambati.
Other projects include an international film on the life of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar; a female-led action film and his own directorial, which is a mega-budget—high on action—two-hero epic.
