Abhay Verma, who gained recognition for his performance in Munjya, has reportedly secured a significant role in the forthcoming action thriller King, reported Pinkvilla.
The movie, directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, is headlined by SRK, his daughter Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan.
This project is a joint venture with Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand's production company, Marflix.

'King' to start filming in November 2024
The casting for King is reportedly moving at a brisk pace.
A source close to the project revealed, "While the script is locked, the makers have also identified the shooting locations in India and abroad."
"The production team is now on the final step to get the entire ensemble cast in place alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, as they are aiming to take the film on floors from November 2024."

'King' to feature SRK in a raw action avatar
King is set to be a unique action thriller featuring SRK in a raw and rugged action role.
The story centers around a mentor-student relationship between SRK and Suhana, with Bachchan portraying the villain.
Anirudh Ravichander will compose the film's music and background score, while some of the industry's top professionals have been enlisted to choreograph the action sequences.
