    What's the story

    The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati finally announced the much-awaited results of the 2023 Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced on Sunday.

    Candidates who appeared for the JEE Advanced exam can now check out their results on the official website: jeeadv.ac.in.

    Furthermore, the institute declared the cut-off marks that a candidate had to secure to be included in rank lists of various categories.

    How to check JEE Advanced 2023 results

    Here's how candidates can check their JEE Advanced 2023 results:

    Log on to the official website at jeeadv.ac.in and then click on the link that reads "Link for Result Portal."

    A new page will open where candidates need to enter their roll number, mobile number, and date of birth and click on submit.

    The result will pop up next, and candidates can download it.

    1,83,072 candidates appeared for JEE Advanced 2023 exam

    According to reports, a total of 1,83,072 candidates had registered for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2023.

    Out of this, 1,46,111 male aspirants took the exam, and only 36,264 cleared it.

    On the other hand, 43,633 female candidates appeared for the coveted exam, but only 7,509 passed it.

    Hyderabad candidates registered best success rate: Report

    Hindustan Times reported that the Hyderabad zone had the best success rate this time, as 10,432 students from there cleared the examination.

    IIT Hyderabad also had the highest representation in the top 10 list of common rankings and qualified candidates.

    It had the highest number of students in the top 500 as well, followed by IITs in Delhi, Bombay, Roorkee, Kharagpur, Kanpur, and Guwahati.

    The top 10 candidates in the Common Rank List this year are as follows:

    Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy (IIT Hyderabad), Ramesh Surya Theja (IIT Hyderabad), Rishi Karla (IIT Roorkee), Raghav Goyal (IIT Roorkee), Addagada Venkata Sivaram (IIT Hyderabad), Prabhav Khandelwal (IIT Delhi), Bikkina Abhinav Chowddary (IIT Hyderabad), Malay Kedia (IIT Delhi), Nagireddy Balaaji Reddy (IIT Hyderabad), and Yakkanti Pani Venkata Maneendhar Reddy (IIT Hyderabad).
