    What's the story

Piaggio-owned Aprilia is working to launch the Tuono 125 sports bike in India sometime soon.

In the latest update, the 125cc sports tourer has been listed on the company's India website, hinting at its imminent launch.

Notably, the low-displacement motorcycle takes its inspiration from the flagship Tuono V4 1100 RR model.

    Here's more.

    Design

A look at the Aprilia Tuono 125

Aprilia Tuono 125 comes with an eye-catching look featuring a semi-faired design with a muscular fuel tank, an angular-looking front apron, LED headlamps, and an attractive paint job as well as graphics work.

The motorcycle also gets blacked-out alloy wheels with body-colored accents, and a comfortable riding position with wide and high handlebar and slightly forward set footpegs.

    Information

    Power and performance

The Aprilia Tuono 125 will be powered by a 124cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The power figures of this motor are yet to be revealed, but it is likely to produce 14bhp of power and 11Nm of peak torque.

    Safety

What about safety and suspension setup?

On the safety front, the Aprilia Tuono 125 comes equipped with disc brakes on both the front as well as rear wheels, along with dual-channel ABS for improved road handling.

The suspension duties on the motorcycle are taken care of by 40mm inverted telescopic forks up front and a mono-shock unit on the rear.

    Information

And, how much will it cost?

There is no official word on the pricing of Aprilia Tuono 125 in India as of now. But, according to reports, the motorcycle will be priced around Rs. 1.10 lakh and take on the likes of KTM 125 Duke and Yamaha FZ25.
