2020 Mahindra Thar, the iconic off-roader that was supposed to debut at the 2020 Auto Expo, is expected to be launched in India in the coming months.
A camouflaged test mule of the SUV has been spotted, giving us an idea of the updated looks. Reportedly, it will be offered with BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engines.

Going by the spy shots, the 2020 Thar will retain the iconic retro design of the outgoing model and will come with a boxy look, square-ish windows as well as wheel arches, and bulbous headlamps. But, the new model will be comparatively bigger in size and will get newly-designed alloy wheels.
Moreover, it will be offered with both soft and hard roof options.

At present, the SUV is offered with a 2.5-liter diesel engine that makes 105bhp of power and 247Nm of peak torque.
