US Congresswoman, slammed for her dance video, gives savage response

On Thursday, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez became the youngest ever US Congresswoman.
However, just a day before that, a video which showed a younger Alexandria dancing gleefully on a roof surfaced on the Internet, probably in an attempt to portray a 'scandalous' side of the new Congresswoman.
However, Alexandria gave an epic response to it, and garnered huge support from the public.

Video was shared saying Alexandria acting like 'clueless nitwit'
The video shared on Twitter by Anonymous Q wrote, "Here is America's favorite commie know-it-all acting like a clueless nitwit she is."
The post has been deleted since, claiming it was a high school video of 'Sandy' Ocasio-Cortez.
However, the video, which was taken when Alexandria was an undergraduate at Boston University, showed her dancing on the University's rooftoop with her friends.

However, the user's attempt failed miserably, as the video, instead of shaming her, bolstered her popularity.
Alexandria, herself, came out with a clever response, and posted a tweet showing her dancing outside her new Congressional office.
Her post read, "I hear the GOP thinks women dancing are scandalous. Wait till they find out Congresswomen dance too! Have a great weekend everyone."

Alexandria's tweet garnered many positive responses on Twitter and users gave their full support to her.
Actor Russell Crowe responded to her dance tweet saying her dance is "fantastic" and added, "The more politicians we have like AOC the sooner we'll all be dancing."
