Malala visits Pakistan for first time since she was shot
What's the story
Malala Yousafzai, the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner, is visiting Pakistan for the first time since she was shot by Taliban militants in 2012.
Though details of her four-day trip have been kept confidential "in view of the sensitivity", she is to meet Pakistani PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
She was spotted with her parents at the Islamabad airport amid tight security.

Who is Malala?
Now a 20-year-old Pakistani student at the Oxford University, Malala is a vocal campaigner of female education.
Accused of being "pro-west", she was shot in the head in 2012 at age 15 by Taliban militants for "promoting western culture in Pashtun areas".
She sustained severe skull injuries and was eventually moved to Birmingham, where she continues to live with her family.

Malala's story of bravery gained worldwide attention, making her the face of female education. In 2014, she became the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.
She is the co-founder of Malala Fund, that helps girls in conflict-torn regions get secondary education.
Since she was 11, Malala has been championing for female education. Now, she does it at international forums and amid world leaders.
