Iran and Lebanon are working together to resolve the cancelation of two flights from Tehran to Beirut.

The Lebanese Roads Minister canceled the flights after Israel alleged the planes were carrying money for Hezbollah.

The move has led to protests outside Beirut's International Airport and criticism from Iranian officials who see it as a breach of international law and Lebanese sovereignty.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Lebanese counterpart Youssef Rajji have held talks to settle this matter.

Both the ministers emphasized on strengthening bilateral ties in different fields on the basis of mutual respect.

Iran's Ambassador to Beirut, Mojtaba Amani, has said that Tehran would consider alternative flight proposals from Lebanon if no hindrances are imposed on Iranian airlines.

The ambassador's remarks indicate Iran's willingness to cooperate in finding a solution that respects both countries' interests and sovereignty.
