Unbelievable and disgusting: Dying cockroach lays eggs inside man's ears

    What's the story

Blake Collins and his husband Samuel McGee had been complaining of roaches invasion in their apartment near Florida State University for three years now, but last week the problem escalated when the former realized a roach found a house inside his ear.

When he visited a doctor to get rid of it, he learned the insect laid eggs inside his ear.

    Here are the creepy details.

    Horrific experience

After doctor's injection, Collins heard 'the roach die'

Coming to terms with the horror, that a roach was inside his ear, was definitely difficult for Collins.

To exterminate the roach, the physician injected a syringe filled with lidocaine into Collins.

He described he could feel the vile creature attempting to dig his way out of the ear. But after few moments, Collins explained: "I heard it die in my head."

    Details

Just when Collins was relaxing, he learned about the eggs

Just when Collins took a sigh of relief, he learned the resilient lady roach had laid an egg inside his ear.

Fortunately, the doctor was able to get egg case out. Had it hatched, Collins' life would have become miserable.

Apparently, a German cockroach's egg sack is likely to contain upto 50 individual eggs. So, Collins' ears could've been home to 50 of those.

    What he said

Obviously, Collins is upset with deficiencies in pest control

Collins and McGee raised the pest control issue several times, but the manager of their apartment complex didn't do anything.

"Bugs crawling and dying in your ear - that's something that happens to corpses, not human beings," Collins, 25, said.

The couple broke the lease and are moving to a new apartment. No one can actually blame them for the decision, can they?
