Five WWE superstars who refused to lose a match

    What's the story

We know WWE matches are scripted and worked up in such a way that they make an emotional connection with the audiences.

However, not all matches can go according to plan, as sometimes there have been wrestlers who have outright refused to lose a match against one particular opponent.

So who were these individuals? How did the matches pan out?

    Find out right here.

    Hulk Hogan

The Hulkster refused to lose to Shawn Michaels

A rivalry was worked up by WWE when Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels were entered in a feud.

They were due to participate in two matches, but Hogan refused to lose both.

He was contractually free to choose what he wanted, and thus in the only match that finally happened, Michaels made a mockery of the match deliberately while giving Hogan the win.

    John Cena

Cena would not lose to Wade Barrett in 2010

In 2010, when the Nexus was red-hot property, Wade Barrett and the other members should have been given a proper boost by WWE.

Wade Barrett had the potential to be a major star, but Cena refused to lose in a seven-man elimination match to help promote Barrett.

This is one of several instances why Cena is disliked by a section of WWE fans.

    Stone Cold

Stone Cold denied suffering a loss at Lesnar's hands

WWE had booked Stone Cold to be defeated by Brock Lesnar on Raw, but the Texas Rattlesnake straight-out refused to lose.

However, it was not because he didn't want to lose, but because he felt the match should have been much better booked and hyped about.

Stone Cold did not even appear on Raw the day the match was scheduled.

    Hulk Hogan

Hogan's ego was at it again

This is another of the many instances when Hulk Hogan's ego ran wild on WWE.

In 1993, the company wanted a new face of the company, and Hogan was urged to drop his WWE title to Bret Hart at WrestleMania.

But he refused, and instead dropped it a year later to Yokozuna.

He has also refused to lose against Randy Orton and Randy Savage.

    Fabulous Moolah

The Fabulous Moolah never wanted to lose to anyone

One of the most legendary and infamous names in WWE history, The Fabulous Moolah was the undisputed women's champion for around 28 years.

Some of it might be because of her talents, but more so because she refused to lose, even trained other wrestlers badly so that they look no match to her.

She has also been accused of running a secret prostitution ring.
