    West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has called it a day on his international cricket career.

    The 35-year-old, last represented the West Indies in a T20I in September 2016.

    Both the issues with the domestic board and lack of game time saw the talented veteran call it quits.

    However, the player will continue playing in T20 leagues.

    Bravo, who has been a live-wire in global T20 Leagues across the world, wants to continue playing professional cricket.

    He left the international arena for the next generation.

    He added, "However, I must accept that for me to preserve my longevity as a professional cricketer, I must do as others before have done, leave the international arena for the next generation of players."

    Bravo was a key figure for West Indies

    Bravo played a commanding role for the West Indies in the nation's two World T20 triumphs in 2012 and 2016 respectively. He played 40 Tests, 164 ODIs and 66 T20Is. The all-rounder was a key member of the side across all the three formats.

    Bravo a champion figure in IPL

    With this fearless brand of cricket, Bravo lit up the IPL since its inception. He has won multiple IPL titles with Chennai Super Kings.

    Bravo, who made his IPL debut in 2008, also played for Gujarat Lions and Mumbai Indians.

    In 122 matches, he has notched 1,403 runs, hitting 5 fifties.

    He also has 136 wickets to his name.

    T20

    Bravo one of best ever T20 players of all time

    Bravo is one of the best T20 players of all time.

    He has participated in the Pakistan Super League, Big Bash League, Caribbean Premier League and also the Global T20 Canada League.

    He has played 410 T20 matches and has scored 5,984 runs, besides picking 447 wickets.

    He has 20 fifties and two five-wicket hauls to his name in this format.

    He captained the West Indies ODI and Test team at the age of 24.

    He was given permanent captaincy in 2013, but saw his position go away after a pay dispute with the domestic board.

    Bravo has two children- a daughter and a son.

    A musician off the field, Bravo released his first solo song titled 'Go Gyal Go' in 2014.
