IPL 2019: The most threatening bowler from each team

    What's the story

Without any doubt, bowling is a challenging task in the T20 format, since it is much more suited for batsmen.

However, the aspect distinguishing the champions from other teams in the IPL has always been the quality of bowlers.

From Shane Warne to Jasprit Bumrah, several bowlers have left a mark in the tournament.

We look at the most threatening bowler from each team.

    Bumrah

    Jasprit Bumrah- Mumbai Indians

Jasprit Bumrah is considered to be one of the best bowlers in the world across formats.

He owes a lot of his success to the IPL, where he has been terrific for Mumbai Indians in the last three seasons.

Bumrah is a real deal atop and also at the death. With 52 IPL wickets in three years, Bumrah's presence will aid Mumbai big time.

    Chahal

    Yuzvendra Chahal- Royal Challengers Bangalore

Yuzvendra Chahal is one of the biggest success stories of the IPL.

The wrist-spinner has a great understanding with his skipper Virat Kohli. He has been delivering the goods since 2014.

He is enjoying a good run and recent performances at international level will help him lead the attack for RCB in IPL 12.

Chahal has 82 IPL wickets at an average of 23.56.

    Narine

    Sunil Narine- Kolkata Knight Riders

The West Indian, Sunil Narine, has lived up to the billing for Kolkata Knight Riders ever since he joined them.

Over the last two seasons, he has become more of an all-rounder. Even then KKR's bowling, in 2019, will revolve around Narine.

His stunning economy-rate of 6.53 is what separates him from the rest. He has 112 wickets in 98 matches.

    Mujeeb

Mujeeb Ur Rahman- Kings XI Punjab

Mujeeb Ur Rahman stole the show last season with his wicket-taking abilities and the number of dot balls he produced.

The Afghan is even effective with the new ball. He took a total of 14 scalps from 11 matches in IPL 11. However, what stood out was his economy-rate of 6.99.

After last season's heroics, Mujeeb will look to dominate the proceedings in 2019.

    Rashid

    Rashid Khan- Sunrisers Hyderabad

Rashid Khan is currently the best T20 bowler in the world. His impact across global T20 leagues has been massive.

Rashid has achieved a lot in a short span of time and his stock is expected to rise even further.

The Afghan sensation has 38 wickets under his belt from 31 matches. Further, his economy-rate of 6.68 makes him SRH's best bet in 2019.

    Ngidi

    Lungi Ngidi- Chennai Super Kings

The South African youngster played just seven matches for CSK last season. But he gave us a glimpse of his talent.

This time expect MS Dhoni to feature him more frequently. He picked up 11 wickets and gave away just six runs per over in 2018.

His accuracy and variations will help Chennai. Ngidi has been a revelation since his international debut last year.

    DC and RR

Whom will RR and DC look up to?

Rajasthan Royals will be banking on Jofra Archer's heroics yet again.

He made his IPL debut last year and was on the money with 15 scalps from 10 matches. The bowler can vary his pace well.

Delhi Capitals will be counting on the services of Trent Boult.

The New Zealand fast bowler is a genuine wicket-taker and amassed 18 scalps last season.
