Sanhok map to come to PUBG Mobile on September 12
What's the story
PUBG Mobile took to Twitter to announce that the new Sanhok map is coming on the mobile platform on September 12.
The map is part of a new update (0.8.0), which will be rolled out on September 11. The servers will be down, tomorrow, from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM IST.
Apart from the map, there will be other changes as well.

It's official, PUBG Mobile gets Sanhok
PUBG MOBILE will be taken offline for maintenance from 00:00 - 08:00 (UTC) on Sep 11th. Server may be back online sooner or later depending on maintenance progress. As expected, the new version with Sanhok map will be released starting Sep 12th.

Sanhok
Tropic Thunder comes to mobiles
Sanhok is the latest map to be added to PUBG Mobile.
It has a tropical terrain with the dimensions being 4 km by 4 km. Notably, it is only one fourth the size of Erangel or Miramar.
Even though the map is smaller, the battles will be as extensive as the number of players is still capped at 100.
Interestingly, Sanhok has dynamic weather.

Other changes in the 0.8.0 update
This map will have a QBZ95 gun. Further, a bullet-proof UAZ, and a muscle car have also been added.
Players can use a flare gun within the playzone to call an airdrop. Outside the playzone, they can call UAZ.
The M24 sniper will now spawn normally in-game.
With this update, players can shoot enemies underwater and specify the quantity of items picked up.

Gun accuracy and a new challenge
Both shotguns S1897 and S12K will get a new Duckbill muzzle. This improves shot accuracy by increasing the horizontal spread of bullets and reducing the vertical. A 'boot camp' system has been added for players, as they can earn rewards upon completing the 7-day challenge.
Strategies
Start off well in the new map
Sanhok is worse than Erangel in terms of ambush attacks. It is, nowhere, close to the open areas of Miramar, so don't dream of spotting people from miles away.
Select your landing spots shrewdly, hide, move in silence and use assault rifles and SMGs.
If you prefer sniping, choose areas with tall grass or ferns and go prone.
