Punjab Kings's rising star Priyansh Arya has shared an inspiring message from India's T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav.
The interaction came after Arya's sensational performance in the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2024, where he emulated cricket legends Yuvraj Singh and Ravi Shastri by hitting six sixes in an over.
His brilliant performance also featured a mammoth 286-run partnership with Ayush Badoni.
Meanwhile, Arya achieved this feat during a match between South Delhi Superstarz and North Delhi Strikers and smoked 120 (50).

Arya's phenomenal show in the Delhi Premier League 2024 attracted IPL franchises' attention, sparking a bidding war between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
He was eventually roped in by Punjab Kings for a whopping ₹3 crore.
While speaking to PBKS, Arya revealed that, after his record-breaking feat, Suryakumar messaged him saying, "My (Arya's) batting was total entertainment and asked me to keep believing in myself."

Arya's excitement to work with Ponting and Iyer
Arya also said he was excited to work with head coach Ricky Ponting and captain Shreyas Iyer in the upcoming IPL season.
He praised Iyer's leadership skills, saying, "I am really excited to meet head coach Ricky Ponting. I love his pull shot. Apart from that, I am also excited to meet Shreyas."
He added he admires Shreyas's attitude and further praised him by stating, "I think he is a great leader."

Meanwhile, across 18 T20s, he has amassed 573 runs with a strike rate of 166.56, including one ton and three fifties.
