Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba aims dig at Mourinho again

    What's the story

Manchester United have markedly upped their game since Jose Mourinho was sacked, and showed their quality once again last night, brushing aside Bournemouth with a scoreline of 4-1.

Paul Pogba has been the best version of himself since Mourinho left, and has already scored four goals in his last two Premier League matches for United.

Here are his comments from the post-match interview.

    Comments

We want to attack, manager wants to attack: Pogba

Pogba clearly mentioned that now the players and the manager are on same wavelength, as both parties want to play an attacking brand of football.

This has been seen as a sly dig at Mourinho, who was always infamous for his defensive approach.

Pogba, during Mourinho's regime, had also said that being a team as big as United, they need to "Attack, attack, attack".

    Comments

Pogba lauds United's new style of play

The Frenchman further lauded United's new playing style, saying that they did win under the old manager, but the new approach under Solskjaer is something they all admire.

Players like Alexis Sanchez had also complained about how Mourinho restricted their natural instincts when they tried to attack.

Pogba said all players are enjoying themselves under Solskjaer, and that is exactly what a team needs.

    Solskjaer

Solskjaer praises Pogba after his brilliant performance

Interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was all praises for Pogba after the latter put up another spectacular performance against Bournemouth, scoring twice and setting up Lukaku for another goal.

Solskjaer praised the fact that the United star was top-notch in every aspect of the game, and did not showboat at any point of time.

He added that he wanted his players to play to their strengths.

    PSG

United playing impressive football; have to prove themselves against PSG

United have indeed improved on their passing movements, and in both attacking and possession sectors, but their true test will come when they face Paris Saint-Germain in the UCL round of 16.

Solskjaer's men have to prove it on the bigger stage against a world-class team like PSG that they are truly an evolved side and are capable of bringing back United's long-lost glory days.
