    What's the story

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced free entry for fans for the last two days of the ongoing first Test against Bangladesh.

This initiative is aimed at increasing spectator attendance during the weekend games at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The board hopes to attract families and students to enjoy live cricket action, without any entry fee.

    Here are the details.

    Policy details

Free entry policy and ticket refunds

To gain free entry to the stadium, spectators must produce their original B-form or Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)

The PCB's free admission policy extends to various VIP enclosures including the Javed Miandad and Imran Khan sections, which are exclusively reserved for families.

However, this offer does not apply to tickets that were purchased earlier on for the PCB Gallery or Platinum Box.

    Refund assurance

PCB ensures ticket refunds for fans

For those who have previously bought tickets for the fourth and fifth days of the match, the PCB has promised a full refund.

Online ticket purchases will be automatically refunded to the original mode of payment.

Fans who purchased tickets at Express Centres are advised to visit these centers with their original tickets to obtain a refund.

    Transportation facilities

PCB continues free shuttle bus service on match days

In addition to free entry, the PCB is also providing a complimentary shuttle bus service on match days.

The service operates on two routes, both the routes leading to the Allama Iqbal Park Entrance Gate.

This move is part of the board's efforts to make cricket more accessible and engaging for fans, ensuring a vibrant stadium atmosphere and robust support for the home team.
