Neesham requests Indian fans to resell tickets to genuine fans

However, with India being knocked out in the semis, they are now looking to resell their tickets.
Meanwhile, New Zealand's James Neesham requested the Indian fans to sell it via official platform.

Neesham requests Indians not to profiteer
With half of the Lord's tickets for the final being bought by Indian fans, most of them have now been put on sale.
Neesham has requested the fans to not sell it at an exorbitant amount to rich people, but give the genuine cricket fans a chance to afford the tickets so that they can watch the highly-anticipated final between New Zealand and England.

Tickets being resold at 50x the original price
As per an India Today report, tickets are being sold on third-party websites like StubHub and Viagogo, with the price being more than £2,000 (Rs. 1.7 lakh).
The fans are ideally expected to put their tickets for reselling on the official platform.
Nearly 30,000 fans would be present on the ground to watch the finale of the 2019 edition at Lord's.

The first semi-final saw New Zealand taking on India in Manchester, where reserve day saw both the teams putting up a fight as the Kiwis reigned supreme.
The second semi-final saw hosts England taming title holders Australia in Birmingham. The hosts defeated Australia by 8 wickets.

England and New Zealand would be battling it out in the final, for their maiden World Cup, on Sunday.
The Three Lions, who would be playing their fourth final, were knocked out of the group stage in 2015 but since then, they scripted a remarkable turnaround.
New Zealand would be playing their second and consecutive final.
