    What's the story

    Australia suffered a mammoth 186-run defeat in the 4th ODI against England at Lord's, London.

    Victory in the rain-curtailed 39-over contest means the 2024 ODI series between the two sides stay 2-2.

    England posted a challenging score of 312/5 in 39 overs. Australia folded for a paltry score of 126, recording the 2nd-lowest score here.

    South Africa 107 vs ENG, 2003

    In the 2003 Natwest final at Lord's, South Africa perished for a score of 107 runs.

    Jacques Rudolph was his side's top scorer with 19 runs. For England, James Anderson claimed 3/50 from 10 overs. Ashley Giles bowled three overs and clocked 2/3 (2 maidens).

    England won the match with 7 wickets to spare (111/3). Vikram Solanki hit a fifty-run knock.

    Australia 126 vs ENG, 2024*

    Ben Duckett's 63, Harry Brook's 87 and Liam Livingstone's 27-ball 62* saw England score 312/5 in 39 overs.

    England smashed 25 fours and 12 sixes with Livingstone leading the way with 7.

    Adam Zampa took 2/66 for the visitors.

    Australia then folded for a score of 126. Matthew Potts claimed a four-wicket haul with Brydon Carse taking three wickets. England won by 186 runs.

    India 132/3 vs ENG, 1975

    Back in 1975 during the 1st ODI World Cup match held at Lord's, London, England scored 334/4 in 60 overs. Dennis Amiss starred for the hosts with a score of 137.

    Keith Fletcher scored 68 runs with Chris Old managing 51.

    In response, India scored 132/3 in 60 overs, losing by 202 runs. Sunil Gavaskar scored an infamous 36* from 174 balls.

    Pakistan 132 vs AUS, 1999

    In the 1999 ODI World Cup final at Lord's, Pakistan were thrashed by Australia. Pakistan perished for just 132 runs with Ijaz Ahmed scoring 22 (top score).

    For the Aussies, Shane Warne claimed a solid four-fer. Glenn McGrath claimed 2/13 from nine overs (3 maidens).

    Australia then won the match by eight wickets, scoring 133/2 with Adam Gilchrist hammering a fifty.
