    What's the story

Virat Kohli is enjoying the form of his life and has been scoring freely across all formats.

The Indian skipper notched his 24th Test ton against West Indies in the first Test and got his name etched into the record books.

Now he has a chance to equal former Pakistan skipper, Inzamam-ul-Haq's record.

    Here's more on the same.

    Record

    Kohli could equal Inzi's record

India play against the West Indies in the second Test starting October 12 in Hyderabad.

And Kohli could now equal Inzi, if he slams another ton.

Inzamam scored 25 Test tons in his career and sits on the 20th spot in the list of most centuries scored in Tests.

Kohli, who has 24, could now rub his shoulders with the Pakistani legend.

    Tests

Kohli continues to pile up the runs in 2018

The 29-year-old batsman is already the highest run-getter in Tests this year (1,018).

He has also struck 4 tons and could now get to another hundred.

The Indian captain has amassed 6,286 runs at an average of 54.66 in just 72 Tests.

Inzamam had scored 8,830 runs in 120 Tests for Pakistan at an average of 49.60.

    Centuries

Kohli will eye 60th international ton as well

Kohli could also get to his 60th ton in international cricket.

Besides these 24 tons in Tests, he has another 35 in ODIs.

This second Test against West Indies might become a special one for the talisman.

India will be looking to whitewash West Indies after decimating them in Rajkot by an innings and 272 runs.

    Information

When and where to watch the 2nd Test?

The second Test between India and West Indies will be telecast live on the Star Sports Network. It can be viewed in both English and Hindi commentary. The match is scheduled for a 9:30 AM start IST.
