    India claimed a massive win over Bangladesh in their first match of the 2025 Champions Trophy on February 20.

    While Mohammed Shami bagged a five-fer (5/53), Shubman Gill smashed 101*.

    Meanwhile, with his sixth five-wicket haul, Shami scripted records including becoming the joint second-fastest bowler to 200 ODI wickets doing so in 104 ODIs.

    Mitchell Starc - Australia, (102 matches)

    Mitchell Starc is still the fastest to 200 ODI wickets (matches played), doing so in 102 ODIs.

    Starc achieved this feat in his 102nd ODI, during Zimbabwe's tour of Australia in 2022.

    Although Australia lost the match, Starc etched his name into history.

    Meanwhile, he now boasts 244 scalps at 23.40, alongside nine five-wicket hauls and 12 four-wicket hauls (127 ODIs).

    Saqlain Mushtaq - Pakistan, (104 matches)

    The former Pakistani spinner sits joint-second on this list with Shami while reaching the mark in 104 ODIs.

    According to ESPNcricinfo, Saqlain achieved the same during the 2nd Super of the 1999 World Cup against South Africa.

    The spinner returned with figures worth 1/51, as Pakistan lost by three wickets.

    Overall, he retired with 288 scalps at 21.78, (5Ws: six, 4Ws: 11).

    Mohammed Shami - India, (104 matches)

    As mentioned Shami shares the second spot with Mushtaq having reached the 200 scalps mark in his 104th ODI.

    Additionally, he also became the fastest Indian to 200 ODI wickets. The 34-year-old touched the 200-wicket mark with his third scalp.

    Overall, he now boasts 202 wickets (103 innings) at an average of 23.63. His tally includes six fifers and 10 four-wicket hauls.

    Trent Boult - New Zealand, (107 matches)

    Trent Boult sits third on the list, having recorded his 200th ODI wicket in his 107th match.

    Meanwhile, Boult achieved this milestone during the 11th match of the 2023 World Cup against Bangladesh.

    Additionally, he finished with figures worth 2/45 as NZ beat Bangladesh by eight wickets.

    Overall, he owns a tally of 211 scalps at 24.38, including six fifers and 10 four-wicket hauls.
