    What's the story

    The fourth day of the India-Bangladesh 2nd Test in Kanpur saw a plethora of records.

    The hosts bundled out the Tigers for 233 before racking up a record-breaking 285/9d in just 34.4 overs.

    Openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma brought up India's fifty in just three overs, the fastest by a team in men's Tests.

    Here are the fastest fifty Test stands (run-rate).

    Rohit-Jaiswal: 14.34 vs Bangladesh, 2024 

    As per ESPNcricinfo, the one between Rohit and Jaiswal is now the fastest fifty-plus stand by a pair in Tests (in terms of run-rate).

    The duo added 55 off 23 balls, recording a run-rate of 14.34. No other pair has registered a run-rate of over 12 in this regard.

    In the same innings, India slammed the fastest team 100, 150, and 200 in Tests.

    Duckett-Stokes: 11.86 vs West Indies, 2024

    Earlier this year, England chased down 82 against the West Indies in just 7.2 overs in Birmingham.

    Openers Ben Duckett and Ben Stokes did the damage, helping England reach their half-century off 4.2 overs.

    Notably, Rohit and Jaiswal overcame this mark in the ongoing Kanpur Test.

    Duckett and Stokes registered a run-rate of 11.86 in the run-chase.

    Boult-Wagner: 11.55 vs England, 2013

    In 2013, New Zealand's Trent Boult and Neil Wagner stitched a 52-run partnership for the 10th wicket against England in Leeds.

    The Kiwis were down to 122/9 before the duo took them to 174.

    Boult and Wagner recorded a run-rate of 11.55 while helping NZ reach their fifty.

    However, the hosts won the match by 247 runs .
