    Dwayne Bravo, a former West Indies all-rounder and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) stalwart, has announced his retirement from the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

    This season will mark his final appearance in the tournament.

    Bravo is the most successful bowler in T20 history. He is also closing in on 7,000 T20 runs.

    He stated, "It's been a great journey and I'm looking forward to playing my final professional tournament in front of my Caribbean people. TKR is the place where everything started for me and will end with my team."

    Bravo's impressive career statistics in CPL

    Bravo's career in the CPL is marked by impressive statistics. He has played 103 matches and scored 1,155 runs (SR: 129.62).

    The right-arm pacer has also taken 128 wickets at 22.40. He is the tournament's leading wicket-taker.

    These figures underscore his significant contribution to the league.

    Despite announcing his retirement, Bravo still has a chance to improve these stats this season as he aims for match-winning performances to end on a high.

    Bravo's remarkable journey in IPL and T20 cricket

    In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Bravo played for teams like Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, retiring from the tournament in 2022.

    He holds the record for the most wickets taken by an overseas player in IPL with 183 scalps.

    The all-rounder is the highest wicket-taker in all T20s. He owns 630 scalps in 578 matches at 24.28. He has also scored 6,970 runs with the bat at 22.41.
