    What's the story

Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals will square off in Match 26 of the 2024 Indian Premier League at the Ekana Cricket Stadium.

The Super Giants are coming off three successive wins, while DC have lost four of their first five encounters.

Nevertheless, David Warner's current form has been a positive for DC. To tackle him, LSG could use their trump card, Ravi Bishnoi.

    Battle

Bishnoi has struck thrice in 16 balls

Although DC haven't started their campaign well, they still have hopes pinned on Warner's current form. He has struck at 142.34 so far.

Since the Lucknow wicket assists spin, LSG can introduce Bishnoi early to defuse this threat.

The leg-spinner has dismissed Warner thrice in just 16 balls. Warner averages just 3.66 and has a strike rate of 68.75 in this regard.

    Spinners

It is worth noting that Warner strikes at 145.57 against these bowlers, having scored 872 runs off 599 balls, in the IPL.

While Warner's average goes past 50, he has been dismissed 17 times in this regard. His tally includes 34 sixes and 64 fours.

    Bishnoi vs left-handed batters

Meanwhile, Bishnoi has a terrific record against left-handed batters in the IPL. He has dismissed them 24 times and averages 20.37 in this regard. Notably, the left-handed batters strike at 114.51 against Bishnoi in the tournament.

    Report

Lucknow to host the LSG-DC clash

Lucknow's Ekana Cricket Stadium will host this duel on April 12 (7:30pm IST). This venue is known for its slow tracks.

While the seamers cash in on the red-soil pitches, the black-soil decks support spinners. Notably, the latter makes the run-scoring difficult.

Star Sports will telecast the match, and fans can also live-stream it on JioCinema for free.
