    What's the story

The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team will face arch-rival Pakistan in their second match of the 2025 Champions Trophy.

The match will be played in Dubai on February 23.

Meanwhile, there have been a few instances where batters have put on a show in these high-intensity matches over the years.

We decode batters with 50-plus scores in India-Pakistan ODI matches held in Dubai.

    #1

    Shikhar Dhawan - 114 in 2018

Former Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan stands atop the list thanks to his stellar knock of 114 against Pakistan.

He managed this in the third match of the Super-Four stage during the 2018 Asia Cup.

Dhawan's knock from 100 balls included 16 boundaries and two maximums.

His knock and Rohit Sharma's 111* helped India (238/1) comfortably chase down the target.

    #2

    Rohit Shama - 111* in 2018

Rohit's 111* in the aforementioned game continues to be his lone century in the Asia Cup.

Chasing 238 for victory, India were off to a flier as openers Rohit and Dhawan made a mockery of the Pakistan bowling attack.

They added 210 runs for the first wicket.

Captain Rohit remained unbeaten on 111 off 119 (7 fours, 4 sixes).

    #3

    Shoaib Malik - 78 in 2018

Pakistan's Shoaib Malik ranks third on this list thanks to his 78 off 90 balls in the aforementioned Super-Four Asia Cup game.

Malik's knock included four boundaries and two sixes.

His knock combined with skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed's 44 saw Pakistan manage 237/7 while batting first.

As no other Pakistan batter could touch the 35-run mark in the game, Malik's efforts went in vain.

    #4

    Rohit Sharma - 52 in 2018

Rohit's quickfire 52-run knock (six boundaries, three maximums) rounds out this list of elite batters.

The opening batter played this knock during a Group A match of the 2018 Asia Cup.

In response to Pakistan's 162/10, Rohit's 52 off 39 balls and Dhawan's 46 off 54 balls sailed India to victory by eight wickets (126 balls remaining).
