Additionally, his score of 165 runs is now the highest individual score by an Indian in T20s, outdoing Shreyas Iyer's previous best of 147 runs against Sikkim in Indore on February 21, 2019.

During his extraordinary innings, Badoni hit a record 19 sixes.

With this, he has surpassed Iyer's record of 15 sixes against Sikkim in 2019.

This is the highest number of sixes hit by an Indian batter in a T20 innings, surpassing Chris Gayle's previous record of 18 sixes in the 2017 Bangladesh Premier League.

Estonia's Sahil Chauhan also hit 18 sixes against Cyprus.

    Sixer spree

Arya smashes six sixes in an over

Arya grabbed attention by hitting six sixes in an over bowled by Manan Bhardwaj. He emulated former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who smashed six sixes during the 2007 T20 World Cup against England.
