Pointing smashed four sixes and one four and ran two runs in the 18th over off pacer Daryl Tuffey. He scored an unbeaten 98 off 55 balls, taking Australia's total to 214/5. NZ were folded for 170, courtesy of Michael Kasprowicz's 4-fer.
Aaron Finch/Glenn Maxwell - AUS vs PAK, 2014
Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell smashed 30 runs in an over against Pakistan in the 2014 T20 World Cup. Maxwell's two sixes, two fours, Finch's boundary, a run, and (5nb) in the 7th over, off Bilawal Bhatti taking the tally to 30 runs. Finch managed 65 runs while Maxwell scored 74. Australia were folded for 175 and PAK won the match by 16 runs.
Dan Christian - AUS vs BAN, 2021
Dan Christain smashed five maximums off Shakib Al Hasan (third over) in Australia's only win over Bangladesh in four T20Is. Christian became the third Australian to record a 30+ score in an over in T20Is. He managed 39 off 15 balls. Australia won the match by three wickets (six balls remaining) narrowly avoiding a T20I white-wash by Bangladesh.
Mitchell Marsh - AUS vs SCO, 2024
Australian skipper Mitchell Marsh smashed three maximums and as many boundaries in the first T20I against Scotland in 2024. Marsh scored a record 30 runs in the fourth over off Jack Jarvis. He smashed a breezy 39 off just 12 balls, taking Australia's powerplay total to 113/1. Australia won the match by seven wickets, thanks to Head's 80 off 25 balls.
