Federer makes a winning comeback at 2017 Australian Open

Playing in his first Grand Slam tournament after last year's Wimbledon, Roger Federer started his campaign at the 2017 Australian Open with a win.
In the first round, he defeated Austria's Jurgen Melzer 7-5, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 in two hours five minutes.
Federer hit 18 aces and 46 winners as he played his first grand slam match after recovering from a knee injury.

Top seeds make it to round two on day one
World number one Andy Murray and Angelique Kerber won their respective matches in the first round of the 2017 Australian Open.
Andy Murray defeated 93rd ranked Ukraine's Illya Marchenko 7-5, 7-6(7-5) and 6-2 in a match which lasted two hours 47 minutes.
On the other hand, Kerber registered a 6-2, 5-7, 6-2 win against 51st ranked Lesia Tsurenko in just two hours.
