    Apple's 2018 product line-up leaked: Details here

    What's the story

According to a leak by one of the most reliable tipsters of Apple product news, the tech giant is expected to launch a slew of new products later this year, including three iPhones, next-generation iPad Pros, an all-new MacBook Air, an 11-inch iPad, revamped Mac Minis, a new iMac, upgraded Apple Watches, and the long-delayed AirPower wireless charging pad.

    Here are the finer details.

    iPhones

What to expect from 2018 iPhones, according to Kuo

The leak came from TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo via 9to5Mac.

As far as iPhones are concerned, three devices are expected.

Of them, Kuo expects two to sport 6.5-inch and 5.8-inch OLED displays, while the other, heavily inspired by the iPhone X's design, will reportedly sport a cheaper, 6.1-inch LCD display.

Kuo expects the low-end iPhone to be priced at $700 (Rs. 48,000).

    iPads

What to expect from Apple's 2018 iPad line-up

Kuo expects Apple's 2018 iPad line-up to see significant changes.

The analyst is expecting an updated 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and a new 11-inch model.

Both the models are expected to come with FaceID, and trendy edge-to-edge displays with no home button.

Interestingly, Kuo thinks there's a possibility of the new 11-inch iPad replacing the older 10.5-inch iPad Pro.

    PCs

New iMac, MacBook Air expected, among other things

Kuo said that Apple is certain to launch a new version of its MacBook Air this year, along with an upgraded MacBook.

A new iMac is also expected to be launched with an improved processor and a "significant display upgrade".

Interestingly, Kuo also expects Apple to launch a revamped version of its long-neglected Mac Mini, whose specs were last upgraded in 2014.

    Wearables

Apple's plans for its wearable devices

According to Kuo, Apple's wearable devices are also set to get display upgrades, along with enhanced and precise heart rate detectors.

To be specific, the 38mm Apple Watch is expected to see its display size increased from 1.5-inch to 1.57-inch, while the 42mm Apple Watch will see its display size increased to 1.75-inch from the earlier 1.65-inch display.
