    What's the story

Facebook's "Hide Post" feature provides a diplomatic solution to banishing undesirable content from your news feed. You don't need to unfriend or block someone to do that.

This option is especially beneficial for Android users looking to streamline their social media experience without cutting ties.

The process is straightforward and only requires a few taps to instantly hide posts from your feed.

    Navigate and hide

Find and hide the unwanted post

Once you're signed into Facebook on your Android, just scroll until you spot the post you'd rather not see.

Tap the three dots in the upper right corner of the post for additional options.

Select "Hide post" to immediately remove it from your feed.

This action is private, so you won't risk straining your relationship with the person who shared the post.

    More control

Explore additional options for content control

In addition to hiding individual posts, Facebook gives you further control over your feed.

"Snooze for 30 days" gives you a short break from someone's content, while "Hide all posts from [Name]" permanently removes their future posts.

These options let you curate your feed without resorting to unfriending or blocking, preserving your online relationships.
