    Vivo's upcoming mid-range handset, the S9 5G, is expected to be launched soon. In the latest development, a marketing poster has leaked online, revealing its design features and the presence of a 44MP selfie camera.

    Separately, a tipster has claimed that the phone will debut in China on March 6.

    Vivo S9 5G: Design and display

    Vivo S9 5G will feature a wide notch for dual front cameras, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for secure biometric authentication. On the rear, it will house a rectangular triple camera module.

    The handset is expected to bear a 6.44-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 90Hz refresh rate.

    Vivo S9 5G will sport a triple rear camera unit, including a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth camera. On the front, it is tipped to have a dual-lens setup comprising a 44MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter.

    It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor

    The Vivo S9 5G will draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

    Under the hood, it may run on Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11 and pack a 4,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.

    The device should also offer support for connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, 5G, and a Type-C port.
