    What's the story

LinkedIn users can now navigate lengthy posts more efficiently with the help of a new Chrome extension, "LinkedIn TLDR."

Developed by designer Soren Iverson, this innovative tool employs artificial intelligence to condense verbose LinkedIn posts into a sentence or two.

The extension provides an option to shorten posts when activated, making it easier for users to digest information.

    Features

Linkedin TLDR: A blend of humor and practicality

Initially conceived as a joke by Iverson, the "LinkedIn TLDR" extension soon evolved into a practical tool, with the assistance of a developer named Kingston.

The extension retains its humorous roots, incorporating satire in its default mode when summarizing posts.

It also offers a "serious" mode for more straightforward summaries, catering to the often verbose nature of LinkedIn content.

    Accessibility

    User feedback and availability

While user feedback indicates that the "LinkedIn TLDR" extension may not operate as swiftly as demo versions suggest, it is nonetheless described as highly entertaining.

The extension is available for free on the Chrome Web Store and only asks for permission to view and modify content on linkedin.com.

Currently, it's important to note that the extension is only compatible with posts appearing in the home feed.
