    What's the story

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT firm, has announced an expansion of its collaboration with Google Cloud.

The enhanced partnership has introduced two innovative AI-powered cybersecurity solutions: TCS Managed Detection and Response (MDR), and TCS Secure Cloud Foundation.

These advanced tools are designed to bolster cyber resilience for businesses across various sectors, by integrating cutting-edge technologies from both TCS and Google Cloud.

    Goal

Partnership aims to enhance cyber resilience

Ganesa Subramanian, VP and Global Head of the Cybersecurity Business Group at TCS, highlighted the objectives of this collaboration.

He stated that it combines the best capabilities, contextual knowledge, and accelerators from both companies to comprehensively safeguard enterprise customers' digital assets.

The goal is to help these businesses become future-ready and cyber resilient.

Subramanian also emphasized the increasing importance of generative AI in modernizing cybersecurity and enhancing cyber resilience.

    Solution

TCS MDR to expedite threat detection

The TCS MDR solution, powered by the Google Security Operations platform, is designed to help security teams detect and respond to threats more quickly.

On the other hand, the TCS Secure Cloud Foundation uses capabilities from Google Cloud's security solutions.

This tool aims to improve the cloud security posture and governance across single, multi, and hybrid cloud environments.

    Compliance assistance

TCS Secure Cloud Foundation aids in regulatory compliance

The TCS Secure Cloud Foundation solution has already proven its effectiveness by assisting a global bank based in Germany.

It automated the identification and implementation of more than 800 build-time and runtime security policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Nidhi Srivastava, Vice President and Executive Champion for Google Cloud at TCS, emphasized their comprehensive portfolio, deep industry knowledge, and ability to scale on Google Cloud as key factors in rapidly creating value for their customers.
