    Panasonic India has brought a new budget smartphone in the market called Panasonic P9, which comes with a 5-inch HD Asahi IPS display and is priced at Rs. 6,290.

    Pankaj Rana, business head, Mobility Division, Panasonic India said that the model is targeted at consumers "who are always on the go" and want a flawless multitasking experience with Android Nougat 7.0.

    What's under the hood?

    Panasonic P9 is powered by a 1.1 GHz Quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card).

    The device runs on Android Nougat 7.0. It sports an 8MP F2.0 rear camera and a 5MP F2.4 front camera. It is powered by a 2210 mAh battery. The phone is available in Champagne Gold and Black color.
