    What's the story

The OPPO F7 smartphone will be launched in India on March 26 at an event slated to start at 2:30 pm IST.

The smartphone will reportedly be similar to the iPhone X in design, complete with a notch. It will have a mind-boggling 25MP camera for selfie lovers.

Of course, the price of the smartphone has not been revealed yet.

    But, here's a sneak peek.

    Camera

OPPO F7's 25MP camera would be the best selfie camera

The smartphone will reportedly have a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, and dual-tone LED flash, along with a whopping 25MP front camera for selfies.

The OPPO F7's camera will include features like AI selfie, AI Beauty Technology 2.0, and Real-time HDR modes.

Finally, the camera app will also feature support for Cover Shot and AR Stickers.

    Design & Display

The phone will feature a 6.2-inch display

The OPPO F7 smartphone will feature a 6.2-inch full-HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) Super Full Screen display panel with an aspect ratio of 19:9.

The phone will have rounded corners and a screen-to-body ratio of 89.09%, meaning a fairly bezel-less display.

The iPhone X-like notch on the phone seems like a rather evident marketing push by the company.

    Storage, battery

    Under the hood

According to recent leaks and rumors, the smartphone will be powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor.

It will feature the Mali-G72MP3 GPU and 6 GB of RAM.

The smartphone will have a battery capacity of 3,400 mAh, which, it is being claimed, will last for up to 15 hours on a single charge.

    Information

    Software and features

The OPPO F7 will run the ColorOS 5.0. It will have features like facial unlock, screen recording, App-in-App view for multitasking, and a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. The smartphone's connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/A-GPS.
