    OnePlus TV to pack 8 speakers, support Dolby Atmos

    What's the story

    OnePlus TV is really turning out to be a flagship deal. Several teasers have already revealed that it would arrive as a premium offering with a 55-inch QLED display and Dolby Vision support.

    And now, the company has confirmed that the TV will pack 8 speakers and support Dolby Atmos, to offer a room-filling 50W sound output.

    OnePlus TV to offer high-end audio-visual experience

    From what we know so far, OnePlus TV will feature a 55-inch QLED display with Dolby Vision support. As for the resolution, a recent leak claimed that the TV will offer 4K resolution with a density of 320 pixels-per-inch.

    And to complement the high-quality display, the company would pack 8 speakers and Dolby Atmos technology to offer a combined sound output of 50W.

    OnePlus TV may be available with upto 75-inch screens

    Going by previous reports, OnePlus TV will arrive in four screen sizes across India, China, and the US. However, in India, the company may offer only the 55-inch model, at least initially. In other markets, we might see models with up to 75-inch screen sizes.

    Here's a look at the specifications of OnePlus TV

    The OnePlus TV, as per a tip-off, will be backed by a MediaTek MT5670 chipset, Mali G71 GPU, and 3GB of RAM.

    It will also support all the latest connectivity options including Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi support.

    Under the hood, the TV will run a custom and "improved" version of Android TV 9, offering access to Google Assistant, built-in Chromecast, and Google Play Store.

    Further, according to reports, OnePlus TV will make its global debut in India in the last week of September. The word is that the launch will happen on September 26. The flagship TV will also be Amazon exclusive in the country.
