    What's the story

    Days after introducing the top-spec OnePlus 6 Midnight Black (8GB/256GB) model, the company has now launched the much-awaited OnePlus 6 Red color variant in India.

    Priced at Rs. 39,999, this new variant is offered in a single configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

    The handset will go on sale starting July 16 via Amazon, OnePlus India e-store, and OnePlus offline stores.

    Design

    The Red colored back panel gives an amber-life effect

    Made with six panels of glass, the back of the OnePlus 6 Red variant gives an amber-like effect and has an anti-reflective layer.

    The handset also gets a red, mirror-like fingerprint sensor with gold-colored bordering, and silver accents around the camera lens.

    Up front, the phone looks like other OnePlus 6 variants and carries the same specs except for different RAM and storage configuration.

    OnePlus 6: At a glance

    OnePlus 6 features a 6.28-inch full-HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) Full Optic AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection (front and back).

    It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage.

    The phone supports dual-SIM (Nano) cards, runs Android Ore-based OxygenOS and packs a 3,300mAh battery with Dash Charge.

    Camera

    For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers

    In terms of optics, the OnePlus 6 gets a vertical dual rear camera comprising a 16MP+20MP setup, paired with dual-LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS).

    Up front, the phone gets a 16-megapixel Sony IMX371 sensor with gyro-EIS and auto HDR support.
