OnePlus 9RT now available for purchase in India via Amazon
What's the story
The OnePlus 9RT, which was launched in India last week, has gone on sale in the country.
The handset carries a starting price-tag of Rs. 42,999 and is available via Amazon as well as OnePlus India's official website.
To recall, the 9RT comes with a 120Hz AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 888 processor, triple rear cameras, and 65W fast-charging support.
Context
Why does this story matter?
The 9RT is OnePlus's latest addition to its premium 9-series of smartphones and a competitor of the recently-launched Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.
The handset was first announced in China last October and had grossed CNY 100 million sales revenue within five minutes of its first sale.
We are yet to see if the device garners the same response in India as well.

The phone sports a 6.62-inch Full-HD+ display
The OnePlus 9RT comes with a punch-hole cut-out on the top-left corner, slim bezels, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it has a rectangular camera module.
It bears a 6.62-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) E4 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass for protection.
The handset is 8.3mm thick and tips the scales at 198.5g.
Cameras
It features a 16MP ultra-wide snapper
The OnePlus 9RT is equipped with a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 16MP (f/2.2) 123-degree ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro snapper.
For selfies and video calling, it has a 16MP (f/2.4) front-facing camera. The front and rear cameras are capable of recording 1080p and 4K videos at 30fps and 60fps, respectively.

The OnePlus 9RT is powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
It ships with Android 11-based OxygenOS 12 and packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support.
In terms of connectivity, it offers support for Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, NFC, GPS, and a Type-C port.
