    OnePlus 7 Pro becomes fastest selling premium smartphone on Amazon.in

    What's the story

    The all new OnePlus 7 Pro has achieved the title of being the fastest selling ultra-premium smartphone on Amazon India.

    According to the e-commerce giant, the highest number of units of the premium flagship have been sold in the first seven days of its sale in the above-Rs 45,000 price segment.

    However, Amazon did not disclose the actual number of units sold.

    "We are delighted to announce that OnePlus 7 Pro is now the fastest-selling smartphone in the ultra-premium category on Amazon.in," said Noor Patel, Director-Category Management, Amazon India. "We are thrilled to witness such overwhelming response for the smartphone, especially during Prime Early Access on Amazon.in."

    Variants

    Top-end OnePlus 7 Pro will become available on May 28

    Currently, the company is selling OnePlus 7 Pro's base-end 6GB/128GB model (price: Rs. 48,999) and the mid-end 8GB/256GB variant (price: Rs. 52,999) in Mirror Grey finish.

    The Nebula Blue variant, in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configuration, will go on sale on May 28. Notably, the top-end 12GB/256GB variant is priced at Rs. 57,999.

    Lastly, the Almond color variant, in 8GB/256GB configuration, will release in June.

    Design and display

    Meanwhile, here's recalling the OnePlus 7 Pro

    To recall, the OnePlus 7 Pro offers an uninterrupted all-screen design achieved by adopting a pop-up selfie camera. It boasts of a 93% screen-to-body ratio along with curved edges, an improved optical in-screen fingerprint sensor, and a premium metal-glass sandwiched body.

    Further, the phone sports a 6.67-inch QHD+ (1440x3120 pixels) fluid AMOLED display, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support.

    Camera

    For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers

    The camera is one department where OnePlus phones have trailed the top-tier competitors. However, the OnePlus 7 Pro bridges that gap pretty well for most users.

    The Multi-Autofocus (PDAF+LAF+CAF) triple-lens rear camera comprises a 48MP (f/1.7, OIS) main lens, an 8MP (f/2.4, OIS) telephoto lens which offers 3x optical zoom, and a 16MP (f/2.2) wide-angle lens.

    Up front, there's a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper.

    The OnePlus 7 Pro is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with upto 12GB RAM and upto 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage.

    Notably, this new storage technology offers upto 79% faster read-and-write speeds as compared to existing UFS 2.0 storage format.

    Under the hood, the phone packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for 30W Speed Warp fast charging.
