    What's the story

Nothing has unveiled its latest wireless earbuds, the Ear and Ear (a), in India.

This launch comes shortly after the introduction of CMF's inaugural neckband and earphones, along with the Phone (2a).

The Nothing Ear is marketed as a premium product, succeeding the Ear (2), while the Ear (a) targets consumers desiring high-quality audio at a slightly lower price.

    Product details

Unique design and features of Nothing Ear

As usual, the Nothing Ear stands out with its unique transparent design and the company's most advanced driver system to date.

It features 11mm dynamic drivers, a ceramic diaphragm, and a dual-chamber design with two additional vents for improved airflow.

The earbuds are equipped with Adaptive Noise Cancellation of up to 45dB, adjustable across three levels — high, medium, and low — through the Nothing X app.

For high-bitrate streaming, Nothing is offering LHDC 5.0 and LDAC codec support.

    Additional features

Enhanced call clarity and extended battery life

The Nothing Ear earbuds also incorporate Clear Voice Technology to enhance vocal clarity during calls.

According to the company, an extra airway reduces interference by 60% compared to Ear (2).

The earbuds offer 8.5 hours of audio playback (5.2 hours with ANC) on a single charge and a total playtime of 40.5 hours with the case, which supports both USB-C and wireless charging.

Other features include pinch controls, Dual Connection, Bluetooth 5.3, and Low Lag Mode.

    Affordable alternative

    Ear (a): A budget-friendly option with Hi-Res Audio support

The more affordable Nothing Ear (a) supports ANC up to 45dB and LDAC—similar to its premium counterpart.

It has Hi-Res Audio certification as well. The audio wearable offers pinch controls and a Low Lag Mode.

The Ear (a) provides 9.5 hours of playback (5.5 hours with ANC), and a total playback time of 42.5 hours with the rectangular case, which supports only wired charging.

    Market details

Pricing and availability of the latest Nothing earbuds

The Nothing Ear will retail at ₹11,999 from April 29, while the Ear (a) will be available for ₹7,999 starting April 22.

Both devices will be offered at a special introductory price of ₹10,999 and ₹5,999, respectively, and can be purchased from Flipkart, Croma, and Vijay Sales.

Nothing Ear and Ear (a) come in black and white colors. The latter also gets yellow color option.

Pre-orders for both the Ear and Ear (a) are now open on Nothing's official website.
