    What's the story

    Expanding its portfolio of Nokia smartphones, brand-licensee HMD Global has launched the X71 model at a price tag of TWD 11,900 (approximately Rs. 26,500) in Taiwan.

    Nokia X71 comes as the company's first smartphone to debut the in-trend punch hole display.

    Alongside the unique screen, it features an all-glass body, triple rear cameras, and mid-level internals including Snapdragon 660 processor.

    Nokia X71: At a glance

    The Nokia X71 comes with an all-screen achieved by adopting a punch-hole display. On the rear, it comes with a premium-looking glass casing, vertically aligned triple cameras, and a fingerprint scanner.

    Further, the phone sports a 6.39-inch full HD+ (1080 x 2316 pixels) LCD display with 19.3:9 aspect ratio and 500 nits peak brightness

    Nokia X71 offers triple rear cameras

    The Nokia X71 offers a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP (f/2.4) depth sensor.

    Up front, the phone houses a 16MP (f/2.0) lens in the display hole.

    The main camera offers 2160p video recording at 30fps, while the front camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

    Connectivity options and sensor details

    In terms of connectivity options, the Nokia X71 supports dual (nano-SIMs), 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, aptX, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C. Moreover, the phone comes with all standard sensors including accelerometer, proximity, gyro, and compass.

    Nokia X71: Under the hood

    The Nokia X71 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory which is expandable upto 256GB via micro-SD card.

    Further, the phone houses a 3,500mAh battery with 18W Fast charging support and runs Android Pie under the Android One program.

    Nokia has launched X71 at TWD 11,900 ( approximately Rs. 26,500) in a single color option- Eclipse Black. It will be available for purchase in Taiwan from April 30. As for now, the company has not shared any details regarding its availability in India.
