    What's the story

    Expanding its portfolio of mid-range smartphones, Motorola has launched the all-new One Action smartphone in India.

    Priced at Rs. 13,999, the Android One-based handset will go on sale starting August 30 via Flipkart.

    Its key highlights include punch-hole design, 21:9 aspect ratio, triple rear camera setup, and mid-level internals.

    At a glance

    Up front, the Motorola One Action features a small display cut-out on the top left corner and a noticeable bezel at the bottom.

    On the rear, the glossy panel houses triple cameras with LED flash and a physical fingerprint sensor.

    Further, the handset sports a 6.3-inch LCD display with full-HD+ (1080x2520 pixels) resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, and 432ppi pixel density.

    What's the camera like on Motorola One Action?

    For photography, the Motorola One Action houses triple rear cameras comprising a 12MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 16MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle action camera with 117-degree Field of View (FoV), and a 5MP (f/2.2) sensor to capture depth details.

    The main camera supports 4K video recording at 30fps, and you can also shoot landscape videos while holding the handset vertically.

    The Motorola One Action comes with a 12MP front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture for selfies, video calling, and face unlocking. Further, the selfie camera offers features like portrait lighting, auto smile capture, group selfie, and more.

    Under the hood

    The Motorola One Action draws power from Exynos 9609 processor. The company has paired this chipset with 4GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.

    It runs on stock Android Pie as part of Android One program and packs a 3,500mAh battery with 10W fast charging.

    It offers all the latest connectivity options such as dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, VoLTE, USB Type-C port, and a headphone jack.

    As far as pricing is concerned, the Motorola One Action costs Rs. 13,999 for the solo 4GB/128GB model.

    Talking about launch offers, Reliance Jio is offering Rs. 2,200 Jio instant cashback and 125GB 4G data benefit.

    Lastly, the handset goes up against rivals such as Vivo Z1 Pro, Realme 5 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy M40.
