Apple's iOS 13 problems are just not coming to an end!
Just recently, a bug in the platform HomePods/story">broke HomePods for several users, and now, in another case, it is aggressively killing apps on the iPhones.
The issue is pretty annoying and has ruined the whole 'Apple experience' for a lot of people.

Issue
Apps getting killed in the background
According to a long series of complaints compiled by the folks at MacRumors, iOS 13 is killing background apps rather aggressively on the iPhones.
The issue triggers automatically and shuts an app down within a few seconds of switching to another memory-intensive program, say like Camera, Spotify, or iMessage.
It's been reported by several people, even those using the latest iPhone 11 family.
Impact
This effectively removes in-app progress
While the issue doesn't sound big, it does create a lot of problems when the app that gets killed has a lot of information.
Essentially, if you are in the middle of a task on one app, say like writing an email or watching a video, and then switch to another, the first app could lose all the progress you have made.
Cause
Root cause of the problem remains unclear
As the issue appears to persist on both old iPhones with dated hardware as well as new ones with the latest hardware and software, there is no saying what exactly is causing the app-killing problem.
It could be a long-standing iOS 13 bug or something that slipped with the most recent iOS 13.2 release and is now managing memory poorly, killing apps.

So far, Apple has not commented on the matter or detailed why exactly apps are being shuttered in the background.
The company has been battling plenty of iOS-related issues of late, but there's a good chance that it would push an update to fix this issue and release a statement explaining the whole debacle.
