Infinix launches budget-friendly S5 Lite smartphone at Rs. 8,000
What's the story
As the more affordable variant of its budget-friendly S5 smartphone, Infinix has launched the S5 Lite in India today.
Priced at Rs. 7,999, the new model is available in solo 4GB/64GB configuration and will go on sale via Flipkart on November 22.
The handset comes with a punch-hole design, triple rear cameras, physical fingerprint scanner, and entry-level internals.

First, a look at the Infinix S5 Lite
Infinix S5 Lite features a punch-hole design with a noticeable bezel at the bottom to offer nearly 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. On the back, it houses vertically stacked triple camera unit with quad-LED flash and physical fingerprint scanner.
The handset offers a 6.6-inch LCD display with an HD+ (720x1600 pixels) resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio.

The triple rear cameras on the Infinix S5 Lite include a 16MP (f/1.8) main camera, along with a 2MP depth sensor, and another lens for low-light photography.
The primary camera comes with AI-based photography features including Auto Scene Detection, AI HDR, AI Beauty, and supports 1080p video recording at 30fps.
Up front, the phone houses a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper.

Under the hood
The Infinix S5 Lite is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.
Under the hood, it runs Android Pie-based XOS 5.5 and packs a solid 4,000mAh battery.
In addition, it provides all standard connectivity options such as dual-SIMs (Nano), VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB port, and a headphone jack.
