    A truck transporting approximately 1,600 iPhones, valued at ₹12 crore, was robbed in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh.

    The incident occurred while the vehicle was en route from Gurugram to Chennai.

    According to initial police investigations, the security guard accompanying the truck is suspected of being involved in this high-value theft.

    Police launch investigation underway

    Pramod Verma, the Inspector-General of Police for Sagar Zone, confirmed the theft and the suspected involvement of the security guard.

    "We received information that 1,600 iPhones worth ₹12 crore have been looted... The security guard is said to be the accused," Verma told ANI.

    He further revealed that police teams are currently investigating this high-profile case.

    The Inspector-General provided additional details about the incident, stating that the security guard is believed to have called in associates to help him overpower the truck driver.

    This alleged collaboration with outside parties suggests a premeditated plan behind this significant theft.

    The investigation into this case is ongoing, with more information expected to emerge as police continue their inquiries.
