Nokia is set to launch a new 43-inch smart television in India soon. The upcoming model has been listed on the company's website and is expected to become available in the coming days.

It will retain all the specifications and features of the existing 55-inch model including a 4K screen, bezel-less design, Android TV OS, and JBL speakers.

Like the 55-inch model, the upcoming 43-inch Nokia TV will feature ultra-slim bezels on three sides and a prominent bottom bezel that will house front-facing speakers.

The display will be an LED panel with a 4K (3840x2160 pixels) resolution, 178-degree viewing angle, and 60Hz refresh rate.

For audio, the television will accommodate two 12W JBL speakers with support for Dolby Audio and DTS TruSurround.

    Under the hood

The Nokia 43-inch variant, like its larger sibling, will be powered by a quad-core processor, paired with Mali-450 GPU, 2.25GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory to store apps and videos.

It will run Android TV OS and support Google Play Store, Google Assistant, Chromecast, and a host of other popular apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube.

    Information

It should also support all the latest connectivity options

In terms of connectivity options, the TV will support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, display mirroring, and screen casting. It should also house multiple I/O ports including HDMI, USB ports, an Ethernet socket, and an audio jack.

    Pricing and availability

Nokia is expected to announce this 43-inch smart television in India in the coming days. However, there is no word on an exact launch date as of now.

As for pricing, it should definitely be cheaper than the 55-inch variant which costs Rs. 41,999. Lastly, the upcoming model will be made and marketed by Flipkart, the brand licensee of Nokia TVs.
