Figure, a US-based company, has unveiled its latest creation - the Figure 02 humanoid robot. This model is an upgrade from the previous Figure 01 model introduced in 2023.
The development of Figure 02 was facilitated by a strategic partnership with OpenAI, which also contributed to the firm's $675 million Series B funding round in February.
The robot is outfitted with OpenAI's ChatGPT for its natural speech capabilities. Doing so helps humans instruct it, and provide transparency about its activities.
